Kathmandu, Aug. 4: Writer and critic Khem Thapaliya has come up with a new book, Kala Sahityama Duilain Sangharsha (Two Line Struggle in Art and Literature).
CPN-Maoist's General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa released the book at a programme in the capital city on Saturday.
The book has delved into the communist movement of Nepal, intra-conflict in the Maoist party and the effects of the party split and cultural deviation in literature.
On the occasion, General Secretary Thapa said that the book had a lively presentation on the Marxist cultural struggle.
On a different note, Mr Thapa pointed out a need of the formation of a joint government of the nationalist forces for the republic ensuring identity and independence.
The book divided in 17 chapters is published by the Oxford International Publications.
Commenting the book, Professor Dr Jagdish Chandra Bhandari and intellectual Narendra Jung Peter said writer Thapaliya has finely discussed the deviation and anomalies in the cultural revolution in the book. RSS
